Where I live
As you can see from the maps, I live in Sutton Coldfield, which is a residential suburb of Birmingham. Sutton Coldfield has its own Town Hall, Shopping Centre, Library, Cinema, Bars, College and a Leisure Centre with a swimming pool. It also contains a large park, which is the largest urban park in Europe and contains lakes, woodland and abundant wild life.
Birmingham is only a short train or bus journey away and has magnificent shopping centres and a night scene to accommodate every taste. London is less than a two hour train journey away from Birmingham.
I live in a large, modern house which contains six bedrooms: three of which are upstairs and used by my carers, where there is also a bathroom. Each bedroom has TV, radio and internet access. There is also a carers phone and the carers usually buy a card to pay for calls. Downstairs contains my lounge, an office, kitchen, laundry room, a spare bedroom and my bedroom and bathroom. There is also a computer in one of the downstairs bedrooms with internet access, which my carers are free to use. |
